I’m not just spiritually curious, I’m all in. I’m not just grounded – I walk my talk.
I realise magic, mystery and manifestation are all very lovely sounding but how can that relate to my day to day life?
These mystical forces really aren’t so mystical.
The moon does it’s thing, every 28 days, the other planets affect our planet, of which we humans are a layer upon the earth. These gravitational effects can fuel our fire, illuminate our path, and act like rocket fuel for us. ‘They’ have been at it for years, with their fires and chanting and circles and all.
The Power of Ritual
I unashamedly use celestial woofluff in my business. There, I said it. I say it proudly because it works for me and gives my life purpose, structure and balance.
Every day, every week, every month, and every year, I weave rituals into my practice – business and personal. Some of these rituals are simple habits, and others are sacred ceremonies that align me with the rhythms of the universe and the cycles of nature.
They give me access to a higher intelligence, bigger picture and also offer me safety and stability. My faith is very grounded.
I don’t wear white robes or feathers and I don’t shout about it. But I know you know.
The Magic of the Solstice and Full Moon
This week, we are graced with a rare and auspicious astrological event: the Summer Solstice and the Strawberry Full Moon.
The Solstice, when the sun stands still, marks the longest and brightest day of the year, it’s been celebrated for who knows how long.
The Full Moon is a time of full illumination and heightened energy, so they converge to create a powerful portal of light and transformation.
We can be using this light and energy.
Ancient Wisdom and Celestial Allies
I’m based in Glastonbury in the UK, a sacred site known as the heart chakra of the world.
So it’s easy for me to immerse myself in these festivities, as my town hasn’t missed the marking of the seasons for centuries.
Stories from sages, teachers and guardians of these Celtic lands speak of people gathering together to honour and celebrate the Solstice and the Moon cycles as significant allies. These celestial events have been revered as times of renewal, reflection, and reawakening. They remind us of our connection to the cosmos and our place within the grand tapestry of existence – which is way more than our day to day distractions.
Is our real purpose of existence to go to work, pay the bills, feed the kids, do the laundry?
Or are we meant to do that thing that burns in our hearts and bellies (the answer is yes. That fire in our hearts and bellies is the same fire as the Sun. Let’s please remember this, and how magnificent we are).
Ignite Your Inner Fire
The fire in the belly. Raging.
The fire in the heart – a torrent of passion.
So, away from the day to day stuff - what makes this fire rage, what makes you shine?
If there was ever a time to highlight that, to do that, and to celebrate that – it's now!
This celestial convergence offers us the perfect opportunity to get real, own our truth, and move boldly towards the things we really want.
Now is the time to stop the half-heartedness and go all in if it lifts your heart.
The Leap of Faith
Taking these leaps are scary, but using this light portal to burn and heal old patterns and beliefs is not simply something we talk about any more.
It's time to walk that talk – Solstice style.
The Summer Solstice and the Full Moon provide us with the cosmic support we need – if we can get on with it, believe in ourselves to release what no longer serves us.
What if we get really curious about the fullness of our potential?
What if the cosmic activity really does shift our DNA into being more brilliant?
What can we use this brilliance for? How can we impact the world around us with our brilliance?
Harnessing Celestial Energy
Celestial energy is essentially Light. We are beings of light.
I use the light of the sun, the cycle of the moon and these great celestial events in my every day personal and business practice. They guide me, inspire me, and empower me to stay aligned with my highest vision. As a Coach, it’s a joy to help my clients tap into this cosmic energy to fuel their personal and business growth and manifest their deepest desires and life they want.
It’s not a secret – it’s a strategy.
Magic and Mystery of the Brain is a science too, actually.
It’s imagination. It’s playful. Magic and mystery ignite the creative aspect of the brain, stimulating the right hemisphere, which is associated with creativity, intuition, and holistic thinking.
Engaging with mystical and magical practices opens up new pathways in the brain, fostering a sense of wonder and possibility. Remember feeling full of awe as a child? We were in Alpha wave, creative thinking – not logic.
We are in an age where Neuroscience reveals that the brain is highly plastic, it can change and adapt in response to new experiences. When we engage in practices that stimulate both the right and left hemispheres, we enhance our cognitive abilities and therefore mental and emotional well-being.
The Subconscious Mind
Our subconscious mind is a powerful force, operating beneath the surface of our conscious awareness. It stores everything. A super computor of our beliefs, memories, and habits, shaping our perceptions and behaviours. By tapping into the subconscious mind through rituals, meditation, and visualisation, we can reprogram limiting beliefs and align our subconscious patterns with our conscious desires.
The Mind: Balancing Both Hemispheres
By using both the right and left hemispheres of the brain, we achieve a harmonious balance and reduce the overthinking and superficial distraction and bypassing. We are able to rest and restore.
The left hemisphere, associated with logical and analytical thinking, complements the creative and intuitive right hemisphere. This balance allows us to approach challenges with a holistic perspective, integrating creativity and logic to find innovative solutions. We’re no longer spiralling in the loop of ‘but how’ and ‘what if’.
The Science of Gratitude and Manifestation
Gratitude is a cornerstone of my practice.
Gratitude is a state that can significantly enhance our well-being and our ability to manifest. When we practice gratitude, our brains release dopamine and serotonin, neurotransmitters that boost our mood and reinforce positive behaviours. This not only makes us feel good but also creates a fertile ground for our dreams to take root and flourish.
Daily Practice and Commitment
All of these power words are lovely, but manifestation is not a one-time event – it's a lifelong development journey. It’s a dance of co-creation with the universe and each other. It requires dedication, discipline, and a steadfast commitment to your vision.
It’s a daily practice.
Cultivate gratitude every day.
